Communities and Neighborhoods in Chula Vista, CA

Although Chula Vista has been labeled the second largest city in San Diego County, it still obtains a reputation for possessing a small-town charm and with a vibrant friendly atmosphere. Some of the Chula Vista homes are within gated communities; others just encourage a slow-down of traffic to signify the family homes with the neighborhood activities. Newer homes are larger with up to six bedrooms and tile roofs, whereas some of the older buildings are smaller with detached garages. Eastlake and Eastlake Greens in the eastern end of Chula Vista are part of the more recent additions to the neighborhood communities.

With the sudden boom of the Chula Vista economy, there has been a great increase in the quality of the neighborhoods. Many have taken the advantage to replace the crosswalks and add decorative street lamps to insure a safe and happy community.
